What Is Agile Methodology?

Agile methodology is an iterative approach to software development and project management that enables a team to ship products with more speed, quality, and predictability. Instead of setting a deadline for the entire project's launch, an agile team splits the project and delivers work in small, measurable increments. Each increment has a cycle of planning, executing, and evaluating during which the stakeholder(s) assess the team's requirements, plans, goals, and results.
